The Role
This role involves handling a portfolio of Financial Lines claims for a variety of professions, including Solicitors, Accountants, Architects and Surveyors.
We are looking for a Graduate with a curiosity about Law who has the ability to review policy wordings, and is comfortable advocating on behalf of our clients, so that they acquire the accurate policy coverage available under the terms of their policy.
No experience needed as comprehensive training provided.
The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days working in the office. Although primarily passionate about Professional Indemnity, the team also handles Directors & Officers, Cyber and Financial Institutions claims, and there may be scope for the right candidate to move into these areas in the future.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing, drafting and submitting notifications to insurers.
- Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including clients, placing colleagues and insurers to keep all parties up to date, and to ensure that claims are being proactively handled in the client’s best interests.
- Maintaining accurate data and records within our case management systems.
- Producing Thought Leadership pieces for markets and areas of interest to clients.
Who we're looking for:
- Law degree or similar is helpful.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised, and able to prioritise workloads and own time.
- Resilient and calm under pressure.
- No experience needed as comprehensive training provided.
- While prior experience in an office environment is helpful, it is not essential.
