Your new roleReporting into the CFO, this role can be based at either their Central Bristol office or from their flagship office North of Cheltenham with occasional travel to one of their international offices. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparation of Group Consolidated Accounts
  • Audit Coordination
  • Statutory filings
  • Tax compliance
  • Group Policies and Controls
  • Cash Forecasting and Treasury
  • Post Acquisition integration
  • Financial Reporting
  • Ad hoc Financial Analysis
  • Continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise who enjoys getting into the detail. This expertise could have been gained in a similar role, or we would consider someone as a first-time mover from practice. Additionally, we are looking for someone with exposure to an international group structure with strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP. Finally, you will be analytical, have good communications skills and be motivated to work in an open and supportive environment. We would like someone that is passionate about the work the client does.

What you'll get in returnThis is a flexible role that can be based at either their Bristol office, or from their office North of Cheltenham. You should be able to attend an office twice a week on average and be happy to travel between the 2 from time to time. In addition, you will receive a car allowance, a yearly bonus and a truly fantastic opportunity to join a great business.
