Interim Finance Business Partner required for a leading manufacturing group based near Bristol. This £multibillion organisation is working on a number of large scale projects, and needs additional interim resource to support monthly reporting, budget reviews and senior stakeholder management.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will have monthly BAU duties, but also focus on a large amount of project/ad hoc activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the annual budget and quarterly forecasting/reforecasting across a portfolio of divisions
  • Supporting development of FP&A reporting tools to add additional value to those departments
  • Overseeing production of monthly management accounts, consolidating into the wider group's UK reporting and explaining financial position to stakeholders
  • Presentation of monthly and quarterly financials to senior stakeholders up to Director level
  • Contributing to business case reviews, investment appraisals and new project plans, presenting financial analysis to relevant department heads
  • Challenging operational stakeholders when necessary to communicate financial position and drive performance improvement in lacking areas
  • Other ad hoc project work as required by the Financial Controller

You will be either a qualified accountant or QBE with significant relevant experience. It would be advantageous to have worked in multiple contracts with demonstrable experience of picking up project work quickly. Experience dealing with challenging stakeholders and a strong business partnering skill set is essential.
