The firm has had consistent positive development, mostly as a result of new client work and continued new recurring fees created by referrals and the firm's name, brand, and quality of service. The company also has a low worker turnover rate, with many long-term employees.Your new roleAs a Personal Tax Compliance Manager / Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the management, review, and provision of personal tax compliance services for the firm, as well as ensuring the delivery of a high-quality compliance service. The role will be heavily focused on personal tax compliance, and you will be responsible for delivering compliance, managing the wider tax team, reviewing work, and building relationships with clients, with some hands-on engagement in challenging instances (on some HNWI clients for example). You'll be in charge of liaising with HMRC and ensuring that personal tax services are delivered successfully. You will have the opportunity to carve out a major managerial role in the company, building long-term connections with clients and contributing value to the firm, with excellent opportunities for long-term advancement and development.What you'll need to succeedYou will have a strong tax technical career background having grown your career inside accountancy practice, ideally CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified. Your background will have included a combination of Top Tier, Top Ten, 50, large/medium or small independent firm, or specialty tax firm expertise, with a focus on personal tax compliance.
