A growing, successful accountancy practice based in Bristol is searching for a Personal Tax Manager to join their team overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance service, whilst also with a significant focus on leading the delivery of wide ranging tax planning and project work.

Based in Bristol the firm has an excellent reputation both regionally and further afield. The firms tax department acts for wide ranging HNWIs, Trusts, Directors of their OMB and corporate clients, overseas and other wider ranging individuals. Whilst a quality compliance service is a key offering the firm has also has a focus on delivering wider advisory and tax planning and business advice and the right professional will carve a key position advising this firms wide ranging clients with progression and development on offer. The firm offers flexible working hours, hybrid and competitive salary and benefits.

Description

Joining as Personal Tax Manager, based from the firms Bristol offices, you will manage a wide ranging portfolio of personal tax cases and manage the wider team reviewing their work and supporting their development. The firm has varied clients across HNWIs, Trusts, property related, Directors of wide ranging corporate and OMB limited companies, overseas individuals and other clients. You will review personal tax returns, overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance services and work with senior management and partners on wide ranging tax planning project work across capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other project work. The role provides an ideal opportunity for the right professional looking to looking to further their career in tax within a leading firm of accountants

Profile

For this Personal Tax Manager role you will be either CTA qualified, or studying and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified and you will have either developed a focused personal tax career within accountancy practice/ specialist tax firm or, you may have developed your career as a more all around, general practice professional developing experience across both accounts and tax so far, but be looking to focus your career within personal tax moving forward. Your experience will have been developed in any mix of Top Tier, Top Ten, 50, larger regional independent firm background, or specialist tax firm.

Job Offer
