Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will take on a leadership role within a growing Audit division. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, including multinational groups, VC-backed businesses, and household names, with turnovers up to £60m
  • Leading and delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring excellence and compliance
  • Supporting the Audit Partner in developing and driving the business forward in the Bristol region
  • Taking an active role in business development, expanding the client portfolio, and building your professional network in the area
  • Providing mentorship and development opportunities for team members, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team
  • Overseeing and reviewing work prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Monitoring workflow, budgets, and deadlines to deliver exceptional client service

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for a Senior Audit Manager who:

  • Is ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Has extensive experience managing audit engagements and leading teams within a practice environment
  • Has strong technical knowledge of audit regulations and compliance
  • Enjoys building client relationships and has a track record of driving business development
  • Is ambitious and motivated, with the desire to progress to Associate Director and beyond
  • Possesses excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Has a network within the Bristol business community (desirable)
