We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Tax Manager to oversee our tax planning (80%) and compliance (20%). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in either an in house position, which has a large advisory bias to their experience, come from and Financial Services bias business or client base, or have detailed Treasury Tax experience.

  • Overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and management.
  • Leading and assisting with M&A and Transaction related activities
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimise efficiency.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and reports.
  • Providing guidance on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Collaborating with other departments in the company to ensure tax compliance.
  • Managing and mentoring tax team members.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations in the insurance industry.

Profile

A successful Senior Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional certification ACA, ACCA or CTA
  • Extensive knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and management.
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications
