Tax Assistant ManagerLocation: Bristol | Salary: Competitive DOE | Hybrid

Are you an experienced tax professional looking for a leadership role? As a Tax Assistant Manager, you'll oversee a diverse client portfolio, provide expert tax advice, and play a key role in developing both the department and your career.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and individual clients, delivering top-tier tax advice.
  • Oversee tax compliance and review complex corporate tax computations.
  • Mentor junior team members and assist with department management.
  • Build strong client relationships and handle tax-only client queries.
  • Stay up to date with UK tax legislation and industry trends.
  • Support forensic tax assignments, including report drafting.

What You’ll Bring:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and corporate tax compliance.
  • Experience in tax planning for owner-managed businesses, R&D, and restructures (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting/tax software and Microsoft Office.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car (preferred).
