Your new companySchool in North Bristol requires a term time only Finance Manager

Your new roleTo work within and provide specialist advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team to support the team to take collective decisions on policy and service delivery issues. To provide specialist advice and guidance to the Governing body to support them to take informed decisions.To organise the support function of the school, overseeing any activities that do not have a curriculum focus. This will include:

  • School Finances
  • Organisation of school site (buildings and grounds), including repairs, maintenance and cleaning
  • Managing the use of School facilities (eg accommodation and lettings), including Health, Safety and Risk Assessment procedures
  • Line management of administration and premises related staff
  • Personnel procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least three years' experience of successfully preparing and managing large varied and complex budgets
  • At least three years proven managerial experience
  • Full working knowledge of relevant financial regulations and associated legislation
  • Experience of the legal implications of data protection law
  • Ability of and ability to manage projects
  • IT proficient, with sound knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Ability to evaluate and meet changing priorities, responding flexibly, and working well under pressure
  • Ability to build effective rapport, to lead, persuade, motivate, negotiate and influence
