This role is ideal for a proactive, self-assured individual who has a background in managing trust cases and is eager to lead a team towards excellence.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of existing trusts, ensuring top-tier service.
  • Optimize the management of trust cases, enhancing support from the broader trust team.
  • Supervise case managers to maintain high standards in case administration.
  • Develop and conduct technical training sessions for individuals and teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Spearhead and assist in technical business projects and engage in broader team activities as required.
  • Offer expert trust guidance to both the team and other colleagues.
  • Oversee compliance and risk management within the team, adhering to policies and legal standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of high performance within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • A Law degree or STEP qualification relevant to the field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in trust management within a comparable setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK trust taxation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
