Responsibilities
- Focus on new business development, including proactive client contact to convert legacy clients to our ongoing service proposition.
- Provide holistic financial planning solutions to private clients with assets over £160k, covering the full suite of financial planning solutions.
- Meet and exceed revenue and new business targets as set by line management.
- Drive cross-selling and refer business to other parts of the group.
- Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, identifying new advice needs and fulfilling them.
- Generate new client enquiries and advice income.
- Undertake sales and marketing activities aligned with local, regional, and national plans.
- Provide expert independent advice in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain 'Fit and Proper' status through continuous professional development and adherence to company standards.
- Ensure all client advice and reports are compliant with company processes and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate client outcomes and communication.
Requirements
- Technical competence in all areas of financial planning.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience as a Financial Planner; experience in a Paraplanning role is preferable but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management.
- Cash Flow Modelling skills are preferable but not essential.
- Must hold a Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent; Advanced Diploma/Chartered Financial Planner or willingness to progress is desirable.
- Holder of SPS & CAS.
