Financial Planner - Bristol

Ideally Bristol based if possible, but would look at people across the Severn Bridges into South Wales.

Basic salary between £75,000 and £90,000 - Bonus, electric car, and full corporate benefits including: Private medical insurance, Group Income Protection, Life Assurance, Cost Saving & Discount Schemes and Employee Wellbeing Benefits.

Hybrid working

To build and develop trusted relationships with all historical and potential clients, servicing an existing client bank of profitable households the maximum number to be agreed by your Managing Director.

Responsible for acquiring new clients, assets and fees with established Financial Planners generating new Financial Planning fees and net flows per annum as agreed with your manager. As well as delivering workplace seminars to potential clients with the aim of generating leads.

  • A big part of the role is delivering seminars face to face and on video - you will deliver between 4 and 6 per month

You will be supported by the expertise and insight of a dedicated research team, as well as being aided by paraplanners and administration

As you can imagine, to be successful in this role it’s really important that you are open, warm, able to build bridges, to be part of a team and someone who really likes to network. If you have that entrepreneurial spark!

Does this describe you?

  • Holistic high net worth Financial Planner, providing financial planning and investment advice to clients
  • Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients by tracking their successes, and keeping them informed about any changes that may affect their finances
  • Planning, implementing and executing the annual Business Plan in line with your agreed individual targets, acquiring new clients, growing initial revenues and cumulative AUM
  • Ensuring all periodic client reviews are completed in line with client’s expectations and changing circumstances
  • Remaining compliant - with a focus on Business Quality Assurance, CPD, and maintaining SPS

Your role:

To be considered for this fabulous Financial Planner role, you will need to be:

  • Diploma, or equivalent Level 4, and having or working towards Chartered status
  • Ideally have Pension Transfer experience
  • Excellent relationship developer through networking, leveraging existing contacts, referrals and incremental business from existing clients
  • Ability to deliver a brilliantly holistic client financial planning experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter and a strong team player
