Join a well-established IFA firm that is experiencing substantial growth. We are seeking a full-time Financial Planning Administrator to support our team. This role is ideal for a confident self-starter with 1-2 years of experience in financial services administration, preferably within an IFA setting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain all client records accurately and methodically.
  • Prepare client files for meetings and manage letters of authority requests and processing.
  • Act as the client’s contact to providers and ensure money laundering checks are carried out.
  • Process application forms and client cheques, keeping clients informed of progress and sending any required documentation efficiently.
  • Carry out monthly policy valuation updates on the client database.
  • Produce accurate valuation reports and be the first point of contact for administration-related queries from clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven commitment to previous employers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work and think independently.
  • Understanding of the financial planning process and ability to work within agreed business processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good IT skills and ability to work methodically.
  • Ability to work to agreed outcomes without supervision and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working in an IFA company.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Intelliflo database.
  • Working towards Level 4 – Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning.
  • CF1 certificate.
