New Business & New Client Coordinator

  • Office Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM but can consider flexible workign hours 

We are seeking a proactive and experienced New Business & New Client Coordinator to join our team in the heart of Bristol. With over 35 years of expertise in retirement advice, our firm is dedicated to excellence and teamwork. This role offers the opportunity to lead and enhance our New Business and New Client processes, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the New Business and New Client team, acting as a team lead, and communicate any issues or concerns to the Operations Manager.
  • Review and develop team processes, taking ownership of these workflows to ensure they are continually improved and adhered to by the team.
  • Manage daily department tasks, delegating responsibilities and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Obtain product information and illustrations from insurance companies, and conduct research on funds and products.
  • Maintain relationships with platforms and insurance companies, staying updated on industry changes.
  • Coordinate the production of client reports, suitability reports, and other client communications.
  • Handle general office duties such as filing, organising files, and archiving.
  • Implement new client investments on platforms and ensure accurate checking of the team's work.
  • Manage holiday requests for the team, ensuring sufficient cover and escalating issues as needed.
  • Communicate workload status to senior management and produce monthly management information.
  • Provide training to new or current staff members on team processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, such as with an insurance company or another Independent Financial Adviser.
  • Familiarity with financial terms and products, with a preference for candidates holding financial services qualifications.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial IT programs and general office software.
