Are you a meticulous Paraplanner with a flair for technical support and a passion for financial planning? A leading financial planning firm in Bristol is seeking a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in supporting its growing team of Financial Planners.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical support to Financial Planners and Advisers, including client report writing.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to assist in client risk assessments and product selection.
  • Develop tailored, holistic plans for clients with complex financial planning needs.
  • Support desk-based advisory clients via virtual meetings, email, and phone communication.
  • Write suitability letters and reports, and manage planning work such as income planning, IHT, tax calculations, trust solutions, and cashflow planning.
  • Perform advanced calculations, including pension carry forward, tapered annual allowance, IHT, CGT, and income tax.
  • Handle platform client processes, oversee project work, and manage time-driven task communications.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Qualifications: CII Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Literacy & Numeracy: Strong academic foundation with excellent GCSE grades (A-C or 4-9).
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
