Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Café Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing a café, strong leadership skills, and basic cooking abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about healthy living and excellent customer service.
Full time role 39 hours per week, Monday - Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the café, ensuring seamless and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Supervise food preparation and ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic cooking and food preparation as required.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and maintain inventory to minimize waste and control costs.
- Managing staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during operating hours.
- Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure the café is consistently clean, welcoming, and well-presented.
- Work with the wider team to develop promotions and strategies to attract customers and boost sales.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability, and implement improvements where necessary.
- Work with our Consultant Nutritionist to maintain a relevant and appealing menu offering.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in café management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Basic cooking abilities and a good understanding of healthy food preparation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and work towards financial targets.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
