Driver / Warehouse

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse/Driver Operative to join our clients team team. In this role, you’ll be vital to our day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You’ll need to be physically fit, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and follow safety protocols to maintain efficiency and order. This dynamic position plays an important part in helping our client deliver excellent customer experiences through seamless operations.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to safely and efficiently move stock.
• Drive and deliver goods as required.
• Receive shipments, check contents against purchase orders, and store items appropriately.
• Keep inventory records up to date using our Warehouse Goods In/Out System.
• Conduct regular stock checks and help with material handling to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Build and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accurate packing and labelling.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vans and lorries.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed, following safety guidelines.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Provide support in other areas of the business when needed.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to consistently perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
• Must have a valid full UK driving licence.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Job Details

• Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £28,571.40
• Monday to Friday
• 07.00 - 16.30
