Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator - 12.50 per hour - based in Longwell Green, Bristol - benefits include 28 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, on-site parking. This is a temporary to permanent days position, working 7.45am to 4.30pm (Mon to Thurs) and 7.45am to 12.15 on Friday.

We are recruiting a Forklift Driver, to join our client based in Longwell Green, Bristol. Working as part of a small warehouse team and reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role would suit someone who has good experience of working on a counterbalance Forklift to load and unload vehicles.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Using forklift to put stock away in warehouse
• Taking materials to shop floor and clearing finished products away
• Stock counting
• Some despatch work and picking duties
• Waste management
• General warehouse duties

The successful Forklift Operator will have previously worked in a similar environment, with good experience of loading and unloading vehicles - you will have a current valid counterbalance licence and good experience working on a forklift in a busy environment. You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also be able to work on your own and use your initiative. The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.

This is a temp to perm opportunity to start as soon as possible.
