Job Title: Yard Maintenance (FLT Driver)Location: Avonmouth, BS11 9YLSector: Operations Type: PermanentSalary: £26,000.00 - £28,000.00Sutton Recruitment are accepting applications for a Yard Maintenance (FLT Driver) to join a leading global storage solution provider, dedicated to offering innovative and reliable storage options worldwide.This role involves loading and unloading our fleet of HGV vehicles, so a forklift truck licence is required. While container handler experience is desirable, we offer training to convert your forklift truck licence to include container handling.The client allows businesses and consumers to store anything, anywhere, in flexible, safe and responsible ways.With a legacy dating back to the 1980’s, they have revolutionised the global storage industry and evolved into the world’s largest family-owned containerised storage solutions company.An extensive presence spanning 90 countries, offering a comprehensive range of storage options through six distinct brands. The Company currently operates globally with 24 sites in the UK with further growth anticipated.Yard Maintenance (FLT Driver) Key Responsibilities:-• Daily inspection of FLT’s• Inspection and assessment of all containers - incoming and outgoing • Cleaning containers inside and out, ensuring these are customer ready • Loading / Off-loading of container units• Daily checks around the year • Deliver small containers to our customers • Reporting on the movement of containers in and out of the depot • Travelling to customer sites to inspect containers for CSC• Carrying out minor repairs on units as required – welding would be an advantageRequirements:-• Full driving licence holder • Forklift truck licence holder• Ability to handle and maintain containers• Experience working in a busy outdoor environment• Self-motivated with good communication skills• Ability to build relationships with team members, staff, and external parties• Willingness to learn new skillsWorking Hours:-• 40 hours per week, permanent contract• 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend working)For you to be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated to work safely and competently and will have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with your team colleagues and other members of staff and external parties.What’s On Offer:• Working hours: 40 hours per week, permanent contract - 8am until 5pm.• Bonus: Company discretion, paid twice annually, after probation.• Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.• Life Assurance: 4 x salary - death in service benefit.• Private Health Insurance, including optical and dental: After probation period.• Job Types: Permanent, Full-time• Salary: £26,000.00 - £28,000.00• Expected hours: 40 per weekSutton Recruitment Limited offer a professional and personal service within recruitment.
