£12.50 PER HOUR UP UNTIL 1 APRIL

£13.34 PER HOUR AFTER 1 APRIL

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Patchway, Bristol.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Delivery of home furnishings
• Operate and drive vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all goods are loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of deliveries as needed

Essential Skills

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Must be over 21 for insurance purposes
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries will beneficial

Training

• Full Training will be given
