Cleaner

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Mornings and Evenings
• Salary: £12.82 - £13.50 per hour, depending on experience

We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our portfolio of schools in Bristol as School Cleaners. This role is central to maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's daily routines.

• Carry out cleaning tasks according to the school's cleaning schedule.
• Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and properly, following instructions and specifications provided.
• Report any equipment breakdowns or potential hazards to the Headteacher or other nominated supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety and security protocols at all times.
• Complete any records or documentation as required by the Headteacher.
• Maintain good working relationships with other school staff and cooperate with changes to work routines to assist in the smooth operation of the school.
• Ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Undertake appropriate training as required and perform other duties as assigned by the Headteacher or other nominated supervisor.

• Experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
