We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our portfolio of schools in Bristol as School Cleaners. This role is central to maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's daily routines.
Day-to-day of the role:- Carry out cleaning tasks according to the school's cleaning schedule.
- Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and properly, following instructions and specifications provided.
- Report any equipment breakdowns or potential hazards to the Headteacher or other nominated supervisor.
- Adhere to health and safety and security protocols at all times.
- Complete any records or documentation as required by the Headteacher.
- Maintain good working relationships with other school staff and cooperate with changes to work routines to assist in the smooth operation of the school.
- Ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Undertake appropriate training as required and perform other duties as assigned by the Headteacher or other nominated supervisor.
- Experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
