A leading national law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Associate to join its highly regarded Clinical Risk team in Bristol. This is an outstanding opportunity for a legal professional with experience in defendant clinical negligence, personal injury, or insurance litigation to work with a prestigious client base across the healthcare sector.

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, acting for NHS bodies, medical defence organisations, private providers, and insurers

  • Draft legal documents, conduct negotiations and mediations, and prepare cases for litigation

  • Deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice aligned with client expectations

  • Engage in wider team initiatives such as training, knowledge sharing, and business development

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Associate (0-8+ years PQE)

  • Background in clinical negligence, personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance law

  • Experience with NHS Resolution or MDOs is beneficial but not essential

  • Strong case management and client-handling skills

  • A collaborative and commercially aware approach
