Job: Commercial Lead
Contract: 2 year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Bristol
Salary: 85,000 to 96,000
Responsibilities of the Commercial Lead:
- Reporting directly to Regional Director of Delivery, Managing multiple projects across a region to ensure all aspects of commercial delivery ensuring compliance on matters of contract, governance, planning and all statutory requirements.
- Managing the day to day commercial and contractual aspects of a construction contract. Checking and guiding teams as necessary in terms of contractual compliance.
- Ensuring that regular accurate valuations are undertaken as per the contract and relevant regulations.
- Take the lead on on the commercial aspects of the project to ensure this is carried out correctly in accordance with the contract and contractual law.

Experience and pre-qualification criteria:
- Thorough understanding of the state of the current construction market and keeping up with both legal and regulations changes.
- Have a detailed understanding of all types of build contracts for administration purposes including; In particular the full suite of JCT contracts.
- Working experience of disputes and leading teams through adjudication / dispute resolution.
- Ability to negotiate and set up contracts with suppliers, contractors and consultants when required.
- Commercial Experience / time served in private/public sector.
- Broad procurement and commercial experience.
