OVERVIEWTop tier Legal 500 firm is looking for a top Solicitor to join as a Salaried Partner. You will be working in the construction department (non contentious). You will join an award winning department with the aim to continue it's growth and success across the real estate departments. If you're at least 8 years post qualified and you're keen to be a part of an award winning team driving it to further success, this is for you. DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage your own caseload of complex no contentious construction matters, while supervising and mentoring junior team members to meet targets and deadlines. You'll be working with several leading contractors, investors and developers advising on all forms of construction and engineering contracts, procurement strategies, and risk management, supporting dispute avoidance and early-stage mitigation.* Offer strategic advice at project inception, including contract structuring, procurement routes, and the use of construction securities like warranties, bonds, and guarantees.* Build and maintain client relationships, supporting business development efforts, attending industry events when required, and enhancing the firm's presence in the South West. As well as building the professional development of junior solicitors and fee earners. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED* At least 8 years post qualified as a solicitor within a reputable law firm. * A subject matter expert in non-contentious construction with experience in all aspects. * Experience leading and supervising team members, while keeping staff moral and motivation high. * Business development experience and drive to grow the department.
