Position: Conveyancing Fee Earner - BristolReports to: Head of ConveyancingDays of Work: Monday - FridayHours of Work: 09:00 - 17:30Salary: £26,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)Location: BristolJob Overview:Under the supervision of the Head of Conveyancing, you will represent private and commercial clients, providing legal advice and managing conveyancing files. Your responsibilities will include drafting legal correspondence, coordinating with solicitors and clients, and ensuring that transactions progress smoothly and are completed within established deadlines. Success in this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and third parties.Main Duties" Build and maintain strong relationships with clients." Attend conferences with clients to provide legal advice." Progress transactions efficiently and ensure deadlines are met." Conduct file reviews and carry out risk assessments." Communicate proactively and clearly with clients, buyer and seller solicitors, estate agents, financial advisors, and HM Land Registry." Draft and review legal documents with high accuracy.SkillsLaw degree or equivalent legal qualification.Experience in a fast-paced office environment.Desirable: Prior experience in conveyancing or property law.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with barristers, solicitors, clients, and third parties.Written Skills: Strong written communication skills, with excellent spelling, grammar, and a high level of written English.Attention to Detail: High accuracy in preparing legal documents, forms, and statements.Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with clients, lawyers, and legal secretaries.Discretion: Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.Professionalism: Courteous, professional demeanor and ability to manage pressure.Target-Driven: Ability to work towards monthly targets and meet deadlines.Knowledge:MS Office proficiency and familiarity with legal technology, including court-filing systems, transcription software, and Dictaphones.Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and court systems (training will be provided where necessary).Benefits:" Onsite gym with available classes."
