Team Educate are on the lookout for Cover Supervisors to working within Secondary schools in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Are you a Cover Supervisor looking to work within schools, to help support young learners by covering the class teacher. The Cover Supervisor would be responsible for covering the class teacher’s absence. All work will be set, and you will be supported by experience teachers within the same year group. The years a Cover Supervisor would be expected to cover would be Year 7 - Year 11 (but you will be able to choose what year groups you would be happy to cover).

The successful Cover Supervisor will benefit from

- A competitive daily rate between £100 - £130

- Guaranteed 5 days work per week (subject to terms)

- Working between 8.30 - 3.30 daily

Key Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive environment.

- Ensure any SEND needs of children are met

- Delivering set work accordingly

- Supporting students with their learning needs

- Leaving handover notes for class teacher upon return

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references for the last 2 years that can be contacted
