We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol/Gloucestershire, who are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Project Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The position is due to start in early March. The salary for the role is £42,000 - £49,000 + a car allowance with a host of benefits.
The ideal candidate will be RICS accredited, and have extensive experience dealing with Damp, Mould and Condensation. Experience of representing Public Sector Clients in court would also be highly beneficial.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Undertaking property inspections and diagnose issues, with a major focus on damp and mould

Providing specialist repairs and maintenance expertise and guidance around complex matters, minimizing the HA’s liability relating to legal disrepair claims

Ensuring compliance with obligations as a landlord in litigation and arbitration proceedings
-
Leading on the provision of specialist advice for the appointment of specialist contractors, including damp and structural experts
-
Creating specs of work for damp and mould maintenance, to be used by in house contractors as well as external contractors
-
Ensuring all legal reports and documentation and supporting evidence is proficiently collated for court
-
Liaising with joint and singular experts to ensure disrepair works are handled correctly

Representing the HA in court as required

Producing data related to disrepair case
