Plant-Ex Ingredients are a growing organisation supplying ingredients to food manufacturers across the globe. We are seeking a professional & organised person to join out Despatch department as a Despatch Administrator.
Our Despatch Administrator will do a variety of duties within the goods out team including :-
- Daily checking with our hauliers to confirm that there are no issues with any of the current deliveries.
- Provision of P.O.Ds (Proof of delivery) to customers that require it.
- Processing of claims to hauliers in case of damaged goods.
- Obtain freight quotes for export customers.
- Put together package documentation for export customers and book the associated freight - communicating all of the arrangements to the client so that they understand when their goods will be delivered, and what connections they should make with the freight company to assure successful receipt.
- Work closely with our customer services department to provide requested logistic information.
Prior knowledge and understanding of logistics operations is useful, but not essential as full training will be supplied by the company.
The successful applicant should be well organised, and have an ability to communicate clearly both internally and externally. Basic computer skills are essential. Must have a "can do" approach and enjoy working as part of a team.
We are advertising the role as full-time (40 hours per week) but less hours may be considered for the right candidate (core working hours to cover need to be 10.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.)

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
