We are working with a multi-disciplined and nationally recognised Environmental Consultancy who specialise in providing the full range of Asbestos Management services. They are now seeking to take on a hard-working Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their longstanding team in the South West region. You will be working on various longstanding sites including Educational, Manufacturing, and Heavy Industry undertaking the full range of surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines and company / client needs. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a company where they can offer further career progression, including into other environmental sectors. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and driven.
Candidates will have good access to the South West, M5 and surrounding areas: Bath, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Portishead, Swindon, Cheltenham, Chippenham, Frome, Warminster, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Taunton, Wellingborough, Minehead, Ilminster, Yeovil, Tiverton, Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent.
" Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is essential to the role.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to use industry recognised systems such as TEAMS / TRACKER.
" Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
" Working on Educational, Manufacturing, and Heavy Industry sites to carry out Management, R&D and re-inspection surveys.
" Conducting 4 stage clearances.
" Carrying out various analytical duties, including smoke, leak, re-occupation, background and personal air testing.
" Providing clients with certificates of re-occupation.
" Carrying out audits of contractors on site.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 248 / HSG 264 guidelines.
" Creating detailed comprehensive reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Liaising with clients to provide excellent consultancy support and advice when required.
