Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Job Type: Permenant

Location: Portishead, Bristol, UK

Hours: Full-time / Monday - Friday

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Years Practitioner, qualified to Level 3 or higher, to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for fostering children’s development through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the EYFS framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, sharing insights with parents and carers.
Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to maintain a safe setting.

Requirements:

Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
Experience working in an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A positive, proactive, and caring attitude.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
