An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations (ER) Manager to join a well-established organisation in Bristol. This role offers the chance to lead the ER function, managing an ER Advisor while providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters.

The Role

As the ER Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Providing expert advice and coaching to managers on all aspects of employee relations.
  • Supporting wider HR projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing and mentoring an ER Advisor.

The Person

We are looking for someone with:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
  • Strong ER experience in either a specialist or generalist HR role.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring others.
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
