Join a well-established, medium-sized firm specialising in retirement advice, located in the heart of Bristol. With over 35 years of experience and a client base of over 800, we are known for our proactive approach and high workflow. We are currently seeking an Existing Business Dealing Administrator to enhance our team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Track the process of all client instructions, follow up on queries with insurance companies, and update clients accordingly.
- Provide excellent customer service when handling routine enquiries from clients via phone, letter, or email.
- Deal with routine enquiries from insurance companies.
- Ensure documentation complies with money laundering legislation and check application forms against recommendations to identify errors.
- Submit proposal forms to insurance companies online or via post.
- Handle the purchasing of units of collective investments and shares, and arrange fund switches, either online or on paper.
- Create short reports from standard documentation using word processing skills.
- Proactively manage your workflow and keep the Senior Existing Business Dealing Administrator updated on current positions.
- Use, maintain, and manipulate the database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is accessible to all staff members.
- Liaise with team members to resolve problems and maintain the new business book.
- Obtain financial data from investment companies regarding clients' existing accounts, both online and over the phone.
- Accurately record client data on our database software.
- Opportunity to become a first aider or fire marshal upon completion of probation (training provided).
- Relevant experience within the personal finance industry is highly desirable.
- Candidates should have, or be working towards, industry-related qualifications.
- Good IT skills and familiarity with back-office systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with client information.
- Ability to follow varied instructions and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
