Job Title: Pipefitter ( Contract for 12 months - likelihood of extension )
Location: Filton
Requirements: Apprenticeship Certificate in Fabrication and Welding, NVQ level 3 or C&G level 3
Rates: £18.65- Skilled without Stamp /Weekday Overtime £23.31 / Weekend Overtime £27.98 Once Stamp obtained which usually takes 3-6 months the rates increase to £19.42 Weekday o/t £24.28 and weekend o/t £29.13
Shift: 35 hours a week, 4 Day Week working Monday to Thursday could change to Tuesday to Friday with 2 weeks notice Hours are 7am to 4.15pm (May be asked to work 6.30am to 3.45pm)
What you'll be doing:
- Manufacturing of small/large bore pipe spools
- Using a wide range of different materials
- Be located in the Pipe Shop
- Fabricating and preparing pipework ready to be installed
Your Skills and Experience:
- Qualifications needed in Fabrication and Welding and or Sheet Metal – preferably Apprenticeship but will consider Level 3 NVQ or Level 3 City and Guilds in the associated skill
- Understanding & be able to read technical drawings
- Be able to work to Datum
- Knowledge of shock clearance requirements
- Be comfortable working to Imperial Measurements
- Cutting/preparation of Non-Target material pipework
- Key understanding of SHE Processes and Policies
