Position Purpose:

  • Operates forklift safely to run production operations and service hauliers
  • Able to work consistently to quality standards in a fast-paced production environment
  • Key contact for all hauliers on site

Measures:

  • Safety
  • Quality
  • Compliance to Operating Standards (RTITB)
  • Haulier turnaround time

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Safely and efficiently direct visiting vehicles whilst loading and offloading goods.
  • Maintaining activity flow of the Production Lines and kept within Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist in the manual inspection and repair of equipment stocks in yards.
  • Ensure trucks and equipment are well maintained and report operational problems including
  • damage to truck or other property.
  • Carefully handle and store the company's hire stock and raw materials while following required
  • stock rotations.
