We have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Forwarder to join a growing and friendly team in Portbury. You will be joining a close knit team, in a welcoming and friendly environment where you'll support and enable delivery of assets for the client as part of the Freight & Customs Team

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • You will have around 3-5 years of freight experience
  • Experience of multimodal freight (ocean and road)
  • Due to limited public transport to the site you will need a license and access to a vehicle
  • BIFA qualifications are helpful but not essential
  • Ability to use your own initiative and work well within a team

You will be responsible for:

  • You will be responsible for the management of data and documentation within the freight management system
  • Liaise with suppliers, agents, hauliers, and shipping lines regarding delivery freight and to obtain clear shipment information and documentation
  • You will working with the rest of the freight & customs team and wider business unit to continually improve processes
  • You will also support regular internal, third party and client audits, support client meetings and provide activity reporting.
