Main Purpose of the Role:

The Head Teacher will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the highest standards of education, care, and safeguarding. They will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that inspires both teaching and learning.

Key Duties:

  • Encourage a curriculum that excites teachers and inspires children to learn.

  • Provide inspirational, strategic, and professional leadership.

  • Ensure a secure understanding of all matters relating to safeguarding.

  • Act as an enthusiastic team leader with a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents and the Parish.

  • Bring together a dedicated team to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.

  • Communicate a clear and proactive vision and mission for the school.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised teacher training qualification - PGCE or QTS

  • SENCO qualification (desirable)

  • Leadership qualification (NPQH)

Experience:

  • Proven track record of providing inspirational leadership.

  • Experience in shaping and delivering an engaging curriculum.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

  • Effective team management and collaboration with a range of stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication skills across various platforms.

  • Experience managing complex situations and conflict resolution.
