This is a great opportunity to join an expanding specialist consultancy who are taking on numerous construction projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced IES Consultant to join their energy team based in their offices in Bristol.

Role responsibilities for an IES Consultant include:

  • Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis to optimise building performance
  • Ensure projects are in compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by carrying out Part O assessments
  • Work alongside architects and engineers to ensure the best energy design strategies are put in place
  • Help improve client understanding of Part L and Part O
  • Provide sustainable solutions to clients to reduce their carbon footprint and mentor the more junior members of the team.

The ideal IES Consultant will have:

  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out overheating and operational energy analysis
  • Relevant experience in an engineering or consultancy role in relation to building performance and physics
  • Working experience with UK Building regulations such as Part L and Part O
  • Previous experience mentoring junior consultants on IES software
  • Strong attention to detail
