Our client, a UK wide consultancy is in need of an experienced individual to join their vibrant office in Bristol. Working on a variety of projects across the globe this role offers the right candidate fantastic opportunities to develop their career. The successful candidate will have worked as an acoustic consultant and will posses strong post qualification experience preferably within the architectural field.

Qualification

Degree or post-graduate qualification in an acoustics-related discipline

Experience

Membership of the Institute of Acoustics

Extensive and detailed understanding of Acoustics for the built environment

Minimum of 2 years consultancy experience

Be self-motivated, able to learn quickly and work independently to deadlines.

Be able to write fluent and intelligible reports, placing a high emphasis on accuracy and consistency.

Good communication and client liaison skills

Familiarity in using noise monitoring equipment

Duties

Carry out acoustic assessments, noise measurements and surveys and site inspections

Advise on architectural, MEP and structural design

Oversee and run acoustic modeling programmers

Liaise with consultants, engineers and architects

Project management Writing high quality reports

Undertaking acoustic assessments in accordance with Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, British and International Standards.

Assisting in business development

Projects

For this large scale multidisciplinary you will have the chance to work on a large range of projects including building acoustics and EIA's for a variety of developments such as rail and road schemes
