Junior Acoustic Consultant:

My client boasts more than three decades of experience in the acoustics sector, specialising in offering noise and vibration services. They are proud members of both the ANC and IOA. Their extensive portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities. They provide comprehensive consultancy services and expert advice to ensure compliance with British standards and key regulations.

Requirements:

  • A BSc degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
  • Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA status
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the development life cycle
  • Possession of a valid driver's licence
  • Previous experience in project planning and preparation of project application reports
  • Proficiency in addressing technical issues during assessments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite noise surveys and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Offer relevant and actionable advice to support the design process and provide cost-effective solutions.
  • Utilise modelling software such as CADNA and CATT Acoustic to accurately calculate noise and vibration measurements.
