About the role:

The primary focus of the Onboarding Administrator is to support new and returning crew in obtaining the required joining documents, ensuring standard operating procedures are being adhered to.

Based in the Avonmouth office on a hybrid working basis – 2 days per week (Tues and Wed)

Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)

What you will be doing:

  • Daily liaison with the Recruitment team to understand which candidates have accepted an offer of employment
  • Ensure that all new candidates who’ve accepted receive their employee portal logins, and support them in the onboarding process
  • Provide guidance and support in obtaining and processing any documentation required such as references, pre-employment questionnaires, next of kin details, etc
  • Ensure that all data quality guidelines are adhered to, and there is no missing data on candidate files, in readiness for handing them across to the Scheduling team
  • Ensure onboarding document sent to embarking crew is accurate and sent in a timely manner
  • Provide supporting documentation to crew as required, such as visa support letters, port agent OKTB, immigration letters, offer letters etc
  • Ad-hoc administrative assistance as required

About you:

  • Ability to identify new processes and execute best practice
  • Confident communicator with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge or MS Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
