Location: Bristol
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus
Benefits: Pension, life assurance and 22 days annual leave
The role of the Operation Manager Timber Products will involve:
Operations Manager position overseeing all logistics and warehouse operations for the supply of a range of timber products
Oversee the operations and logistic for warehousing and distribution
Support the Transport Manager with the costing of vehicles, fuelling and repairs
Monitor stock levels within internal warehouse
Managing staff selection, performance, development and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to meet targets
Producing forecasts for budgets, stocks and schedules
Promote and ensure H&S procedures are adhered to across the business within the warehouse and on the yard
Circa 12 reports
The ideal applicant will be an Operation Manager Timber Products with:
- Must have Operations Management experience within a timber or construction merchant background or related
- Transport Manager CPC qualification
- Experience supervising health & safety on site (IOSH qualified)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
