The successful candidate will lead a team of highly regarded accountants and business advisors, motivating those around them whilst driving business growth.

You’ll be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with extensive experience within practice, with an impressive track record of leadership and strategic planning. This Partner job in Bristol will suit a driven candidate who is motivated by the opportunity to have a real influence on a reputable accountancy practice, with a clear progression pathway to Chief Finance Officer in due course.

Job Purpose

• Lead an established firm of accountants with efficient processes and systems in place, taking the wheel and driving further business growth.
• Deliver a commercially focused strategy, championing service excellence.
• Nurturing talent and motivating those around you, scoping professional development opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff through training and knowledge sharing.
• Overseeing deliverables and ensuring accuracy, monitoring budgets and deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance of statutory obligations, working with the Risk and Compliance team.
• Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.
• Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
• Nurture trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

Job Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with extensive practice experience.
• Supervisory experience with a motivational and constructive approach.
• Demonstrable know-how of strategic planning and analysis.

• A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
