You'll play a key role in maintaining financial records across two entities, processing payroll and benefits, and supporting financial reporting and audit preparation.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing invoices, expenses, and credit card paymentsWeekly cash flow forecastingManaging the purchase order (PO) processPerforming monthly bank reconciliationsCollating and processing monthly payroll data in Sage Payroll, and preparing payroll journalsManaging benefits queries, liaising with HR, and collating benefit window information (including holiday purchases)Monitoring accounts and payroll inboxes, responding to internal and external queriesMaintaining the fixed asset register and posting depreciationUpdating accruals, prepayments, and posting relevant journals in Sage IntacctPreparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and supporting dataEnsuring monthly lead schedules reconcile to SageManaging employee pension scheme updates, including salary changes and salary sacrifice selectionsMonitoring CAF GAYE applications, preparing monthly reports, and submitting payments to CAFPreparing and issuing fee schedules for counterpartiesSupporting the Finance Manager with data preparation for audits and statutory accountsAssisting with other ad hoc finance tasks as requiredKey Skills & ExperienceSage Intacct Accounts and Sage Payroll experienceStrong bookkeeping skills and large journal processing experienceGood working knowledge of ExcelExperience managing and administering company benefits is desirable but not essentialAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with excellent attention to detailStrong communication and organisation skillsClick APPLY to join a collaborative and supportive finance team in a role that offers flexibility, development opportunities, and plenty of variety.
