We are looking for an energetic leader in hospitality to join our growing business as a General Manager at our Whiteladies Road store
Candidatesmusthave experience managing large teams in a hospitality setting. Kitchen experience is preffered but not essential, as the role is very hands on and requires you to be in the Pizzeria slinging out high quality Pizzas and training staff!
Our story
Back in 2013, the taste for sourdough was growing, which suited our pizza obsession perfectly. Roaming around Somerset in a Land Rover fitted with a mobile pizza oven, we served handmade sourdough pizzas to family, friends and festival-goers. Naturally, the name Pizzarova wrote itself.
Encouraged by our rapidly growing community of local Pizza Lovers, we opened our first bricks and mortar shop in Bristol, with a couple more following rapidly behind made possible by our brilliant team, which we regard as our most significant achievement.
Through it all, weve stayed true to what you like most good-mood food on the go. We still work with the best suppliers in Somerset, and were not a fancy restaurant. No knives and forks for these slices.
The Role
We're looking for a passionate General Manager toto our team who thrive on giving great hospitality to our customers and the teams they manage. A passion for good ingredients and a happy, well run team of people is the foundation of being a great leader in hospitality. If you're looking for a place to spread your wings and make your mark on a venue you're responsible for, Rova is the place for you.
We do things a bit differently at Pizzarova - we don't have a dedicated pizzeria or front of house team. We like our staff to get involved in all aspects of delivering a great food experience and we provide plenty of training to get you up to speed in all aspects of the role. So this suits those who love to chat to customers but also keen to get involved in the pizzeria side of things!

Management Role
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring staff are meeting food quality standards and health and safety standards
- Add a fun and energetic vibe to the shift, embodying everything it means to be a Pizzarova Manager
- Manage and delegate a team of up to 9 staff and run lunch and evening services
- Getting involved in all aspects of the role - from front of house, pizzeria, management admin and food prep.
- Involved in managing cost of sales and labour
- Drive sales, efficiency and be a champion of great customer service
- Hire, train and develop team members and shift leaders
- Take ownership and autonomy of your site, using your experience and personality to make the biggest impact you can on our shops
- Food and drinks ordering and stock checks
