Super opportunity for a PR manager who is passionate about veganism, animals, health and the environment.

 

You’ll be confident in securing national and local media coverage for this incredibly worthy organisation.

 

The role will help plan resources, campaigns and activities through a variety of external communication channels, plus producing innovative copy, including press releases, articles and long-form content. You will also assist in arranging and conducting podcast interviews and monthly news episodes, make TV and radio appearances and speak on a diverse range of veganism, animal health and environmental topics.

 

About you

 

It would make sense for you to be passionate about animal welfare and a plant based lifestyle, you’ll want to be an advocate and help generate awareness in this area.

 

And obviously you’ll have a background in PR and comms, that can be from agency or clientside.

 

It’s a full time role that will be partly based in the Bristol office, at least 3, ideally 4 days a week.

 

Snap shot of typical duties:

 

Increase the organisation’s profile with media, influencers, celebrities, organisations and businesses

Proactively seek ways to raise the company profile, utilising key staff, celebrities and stakeholders

Lead and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance promotion and support

Develop media contacts

Write media releases for various campaigns and promotions

Monitor media outlets, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media

Manage paid media, liaise with advertising agencies, source advertising opportunities
