Refuse Loader

Simple Recruitment has a great opportunity for candidates to join our client based in Keynsham as Refuse Loaders, this is an immediate start position based on a temporary ongoing basis.

Salary:
12.80 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Loading refuse from the kerbside.
• Providing a service to the public.
• Collecting domestic recycling/refuse responsibly and efficiently from properties.
• Working closely as part of a team.
• Following instructions and adhering to health and safety requirements.
• These posts require continuous physical effort throughout the working day as well as strength and endurance.
• The post involves walking significant distances every day and lifting bags of waste into collection vehicles.
• These posts are subject to continuous environmental pressure throughout the year in terms of heat, noise, smell, (cold, wet and heat).
• The majority of work is outdoors in all weather conditions.

What do you need to have:
In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of an employee at that grade
The role does not require previous experience as full training & H&S Induction will be provided; however, the right candidate will be physically fit as lifting and bending is an essential part of the role.

Hours:
Shifts are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00am and 3.30pm.
