Job Title: Remote Independent Prescriber Pharmacist – GP Surgery
Location: Remote (Bristol)
Rate: £30 - £35 ph (paid via a LTD company)
Type: Locum, Part-time/Full-time

Hunter AHP are seeking an experienced Independent Prescriber Pharmacist to join the team at a dynamic GP surgery on a remote, locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly from home while contributing to patient care in a forward-thinking primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct remote consultations with patients via telephone or video.
- Review and prescribe medications in accordance with treatment plans and guidelines.
- Provide expert clinical advice and support to GPs and healthcare professionals.
- Manage repeat prescriptions and medication reviews.
- Support chronic disease management, including conditions such as hypertension, asthma, and diabetes.
- Contribute to improving medicines optimisation and patient safety.
- Update clinical records accurately in line with GP surgery protocols.
- GPhC registered pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification.
- Previous experience working in a primary care setting (GP surgery experience desirable).
- Confidence in managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Strong knowledge of clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne) or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of professionalism.
