Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Tendering small-scaleconstructionprojects relatingto subsoil removal and the supply of primary and recycled aggregates.
  • Planning and organising of the excavation, transportation, and removal of subsoil material from construction sites tothird-partyfacilities.
  • Closecommunicationwith clients, end-facility receivers and subcontractors on projectsthat often operate to tight timescales.
  • Working in a team to maximize commercial success when dealing with multiple works and allocating resources effectively an proactively closing leads.
  • Coping with high pressure sales environment whilst handling customers requiring quotes and technical support for tender submissions.
  • Produce plans to support on site groundworks. Being confident in relaying information effectively.
  • Using statistical analysis to determinecontaminationand providing feedback for decisions
  • Classifying waste based on WM3 criteria and generatingHazwasteOnline reports to be included in technical classifications along with Asbestos in soils.
  • Understanding of verification reports to comply with conditions set outwithinlocal authority.
  • Production of material management plans (MMPs) using CL:AIREDoWCoPinvolvingresearching of prospective donor and receiver sites to check compliance under the termsof CL:AIREDoWCoP. This requires the understanding of local authority planning portals, ground investigation reports, cut/ fill models and supporting information.
  • Analytical reviewof site investigation reports from the perspective of Subsoil material classificationusing both WM3 and CL:AIRElegislation. This involvesthetechnicalreview ofground investigationreports to identify commercialand complianceimportant information.
