SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will be working on critical projects within the defence sector, contributing to the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Conduct data quality assessments and identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage data risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPA)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
  • Provide guidance on data management best practices and methodologies
  • Support data migration and integration activities
  • Conduct data audits and reviews to assess compliance and effectiveness

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active SC clearance is essential
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
  • Certification in Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in data quality management and improvement
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Contract Details:

  • Inside IR35
  • Daily rate: 500 - 550 per day
